Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC in Salt Lake City is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the branch's operations, performance, and growth. This role emphasizes strategic planning, staff leadership, and delivering safe, high-quality infrastructure services.

You will oversee budgets, develop business opportunities, manage client relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a positive work culture. Travel to project sites and outside-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 7–10 years of management experience; railroad and/or vegetation management experience a plus.
• Proven track record of leading and growing a division or business unit.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting/financial management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
• Mix of office work with extensive travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve division objectives and company goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with policies.
• Develop and manage division budgets, including forecasting, financial planning, and cost control.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of service delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to achieve potential and foster improvement.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Represent the division at industry events and networking functions.
• Prepare and present regular reports on division performance and use data to drive decisions.
