Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Maryland seeks a Branch Manager to oversee operations, profitability, and the customer experience in the local market. You will direct inside sales, administrative, and distribution staff, solve problems, and model effective leadership to achieve maximum results.

The role requires ensuring safety, adherence to regulations, strong team leadership, and driving sales while maintaining excellent service standards. This is a full-time position with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in management/operations in a wholesale environment
• College degree in a relevant field preferred
• Direct experience in HVACR or similar industry is desirable
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Manage branch operations, profitability, and customer experience
• Lead inside sales, administrative and distribution staff
• Ensure safety, OSHA compliance, and maintain regulatory standards
• Oversee inventory, purchasing, returns, and warehouse activities
• Maintain cashiering, banking, and financial records for the branch
• Hire, train, and develop team; conduct performance reviews
• Drive sales programs, promotions, and customer relationship-building
• Ensure showroom and merchandising support business goals
