Job summary

Johnstone Supply in Rosedale, MD seeks a Branch Manager to oversee daily operations and staff development at our HVAC/R branch. You will lead counter sales, warehouse and delivery teams to ensure top-tier customer service and branch performance.

Johnstone Supply is seeking to hire an enthusiastic full-time Branch Manager to help maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and continued growth at our Rosedale, MD branch location. This management position earns a competitive salary - base rate of $65k-90k depending on experience and includes monthly and yearly bonuses based on prior experience and current HVAC product knowledge. A Day in the Life of a Branch Manager

As a Branch Manager for one of our locations, you are responsible for coordinating and overseeing all operations, including the hiring, training, and supervision of branch staff. Under your exceptional leadership, all counter sales, warehouse, and delivery staff are inspired to take pride in their work and provide above-and-beyond customer service. As a hands-on leader, you model prompt, professional service when answering incoming telephone calls and greeting walk-in customers. Your style of performance fosters teamwork, respect, cooperation, accountability, and trust.

As a strategic leader, you also come up with appropriate strategies to increase productivity and performance levels. You are goal-oriented and continually achieve your branch's financial targets. You resolve customer complaints and dispute effectively. With attention to detail and efficiency, you accurately complete transactions and paperwork. Working with outside sales personnel, you also help develop effective sales programs and promotions for your branch. You feel great about the important role you play in driving our success as well as that of the HVAC businesses we serve!

Qualifications for a Branch Manager

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Management experience in operations
• Ability to learn and effectively use our point-of-sale computer system
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Business acumen
• Consistent customer service skills
• Leadership skills

HVAC/R industry experience or training is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. General knowledge of wholesale distribution including branch operations, order fulfillment, inventory control, customer service, showroom merchandising, shipping & receiving, and sales are preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
