Johnstone Supply - The Founders Group in Tigard, OR is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to help lead branch operations, sales profitability and customer satisfaction in the local market.

You will assist in opening/closing the branch, supervise staff, hire and train employees, ensure safety compliance, manage inventory and pricing, and support executives with status reports. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two years’ wholesale branch ops management experience.
• College business degree preferred.
• Ability to lead a high-functioning team.
• Knowledge of HR principles including recruiting, training and evaluating staff.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the branch team and supervising daily operations.
• Oversee opening/closing of the branch and scheduling.
• Participate in hiring, training and staff development.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory, pricing and profitability; manage costs and budgeting.
• Balance cash drawers and support executive reporting.
