Job summary

KeyBank in Gig Harbor, Washington is seeking a Branch Manager to lead and coach a sales-driven team, delivering exceptional client service and financial solutions that help clients advance toward their goals.

You will oversee branch operations, regulatory compliance, staffing, and performance management, while expanding the bank’s market presence through community engagement, COIs, and small business relationship growth, including Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years sales leadership experience in a related field (required).
• 3+ years small business deposit/credit experience (required).
• General understanding of financial statements and concepts (required).
• Understanding of consumer credit incl. loan-to-value, debt-to-income & credit reports (required).
• Experience leveraging Centers of Influence (COIs) to promote business (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a branch team to deliver distinctive client service.
• Engage in outside calling to small business clients to grow relationships.
• Grow business through retention, expansion, and acquisition strategies.
• Ensure regulatory, security, and internal controls compliance across the branch.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, recruiting, onboarding, and training of teammates.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance management to staff.
• Oversee branch operations, audits, and adherence to policies.
• Assist with weekends as directed by management.
