Job summary

Summit Credit Union in Madison, WI seeks a Branch Manager for our City Station branch to lead a team and deliver outstanding member service. You will foster a performance-driven culture, ensure operational accuracy, and drive growth through sales and local partnerships.

You’ll engage with the community, mentor staff, and uphold Summit’s values of inclusion and impact, while maintaining compliance and risk controls across daily branch activities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in retail or financial services, including at least 1 year of management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS number.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional presence.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, branch operations, and common financial products and services.
• Proven ability to lead individuals and teams toward high performance and organizational goals.
• Sound judgment and adaptability in solving day-to-day challenges.
• Active listening skills and a thoughtful approach to resolving complex situations.
• Ability to build rapport, communicate proactively, and foster strong member relationships.
