Job summary

22nd State Banking Company is seeking a Branch Manager in Mobile to oversee branch operations and sales, lead a team, train staff, and ensure policy compliance.

You will handle loan applications, interview borrowers, coordinate underwriting, and manage daily balancing, customer service and teller support.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in banking, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to develop new business while maintaining security and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with business-related training.
• At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience within a financial organization to gain necessary experience and background knowledge to manage a full-service branch.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Train, schedule, and assign work of branch staff.
• Lead sales efforts and hold regular staff meetings to optimize performance and development.
• Ensure the Branch is open and ready to conduct business each day and oversee daily operations.
• Assist customers applying for personal and business loans, interview applicants and explain loan programs.
• Collect data for underwriting and inform borrowers of outcomes.
• Coordinate loan closing, funding and portfolio management.
• Provide customer service and knowledge of banking products and services.
• Maintain security, perform balancing and audits, and supervise ATMs and branch assets.
• Develop new business and represent the bank at events and service clubs.
