Job summary

Southern Bancorp is seeking a Branch Manager in Hot Springs, AR to lead a branch staff, ensure outstanding customer service, and drive branch performance. You will supervise tellers, manage cash vault and ATM operations, and participate in cross-selling bank services.

Responsibilities include preparing regulatory reports, assisting with consumer loans, analyzing loan feasibility, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Strong leadership and banking experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers.
• Ability to operate a computer proficiently.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch staff including planning, scheduling, evaluating and motivating to meet performance levels.
• Supervise teller operations for accuracy, efficiency and service quality.
• Prepare reports including CTRs and IRS reports.
• Manage vault operations and cash logistics for Teller stations.
• Oversee ATM operations and deposits processing.
• Review procedures to improve customer service quality.
• Participate in cross-selling other bank services.
• May perform teller or customer service duties as needed.
• Assist consumer loan customers with applications and documentation.
• Analyze loan feasibility with financials, collateral, cash flow and credit history.
• Maintain loan portfolio balance and yield as directed.
• Assign risk ratings per regulatory guidelines.
• Renewal eligibility review of maturing loans per policy.
• Prepare loan proposals for loan committee.
• Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.
