Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Specialist III who will train at a nearby branch before transitioning to the new Lodi branch. The role reports to the Branch Manager within the Lodi Branch.

The position emphasizes advising members, processing transactions, and maintaining product knowledge while upholding policies and security. You will contribute to member satisfaction, handle complex banking tasks, and mentor MSS II staff as you grow into leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of banker/financial services experience preferred.
• 1+ year MSS II or teller experience at Golden 1 or another financial institution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments and general ledger entries with a cash drawer.
• Provide Golden 1 services including cashier’s checks, money orders, wires, and debit card issuance.
• Assess member needs and document opportunities in EnAct system.
• Identify and report fraudulent activity to prevent loss.
• Help operate and troubleshoot ATM and Teller Cash Dispenser units.
• Open and close tasks as MSS III in absence of MSS IV+, when required.

Education
