YMCA of Southwest Florida in Sarasota seeks an Associate Executive Director to lead daily branch operations and drive strategic initiatives aligned with association goals. This role stewards the Y’s mission, promotes the brand, and collaborates with staff and community stakeholders.

The position involves budgeting oversight, program development, and staff supervision, with emphasis on exceptional member service and community engagement as core to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; leadership or management background preferred.
• Experience managing staff, volunteers, and budgets; strong collaboration with community partners.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
• Knowledge of fitness/health/facilities a plus; ability to lead multiple teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide branch leadership and supervise day-to-day operations.
• Develop and direct programs aligning with branch and association goals.
• Lead budgeting and ensure resources meet objectives.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff and volunteers.
• Lead community outreach and partnerships to support campaigns and services.
• Oversee fundraising activities and annual campaigns.
• Ensure facilities and program safety standards are maintained.
