Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Retail Office Manager II to lead a team of sales and service professionals, drive branch growth, and ensure service excellence. You will coach staff, manage staffing decisions, and oversee budgeting and operations to align with the bank’s strategy.

The role requires prior management experience in retail banking, strong communication, and a proven ability to develop business opportunities while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail banking.
• Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience in a retail banking environment.
• Experience in business development with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of branch operations, including procedures, policies, control, and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of teller operations and processing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of sales and service professionals to meet growth and service targets.
• Observe branch activities and ensure they align with the Bank’s strategy.
• Provide day-to-day management and coaching for branch Associates, including staffing decisions, performance appraisals, training, promotions, and salary recommendations.
• Oversee branch budgeting, profitability management, and critical operational duties.
• Develop opportunities for cross-selling and staff development.
