Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Retail Office Manager II to drive branch growth and service excellence. You will coach a team of sales and service professionals, oversee branch operations, budgeting, and profitability, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of management experience in retail banking, with strong knowledge of deposits and loans, and a proven business development track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail banking.
• Minimum of 5 years of management or supervisory experience in a retail banking environment.
• Extensive business development experience with a proven track record.
• Knowledge of branch operations, procedures, policies, control and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of deposit and retail loan products; familiarity with business lending products.
• Understanding of financial fundamentals, including interest computation and monthly payments.
• Strong coaching and development skills with creativity.
• Knowledge of teller operations and processing.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch growth and service targets by leading and coaching a team of sales and service professionals.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, staffing decisions, performance appraisals, training, promotions, and salary recommendations.
• Manage branch budgeting, profitability, and critical operational duties to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and develop Associates to maximize selling and service skills.
• Make sound business decisions that benefit both customers and the bank.
