Job summary

The role requires an undergraduate degree and at least five years in metals sales, with strong communication and proficiency in Excel/Word. You will manage budgeting, pricing, inventory, and staff to hit financial targets and ensure safe operations.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration or related field.
• 5 years metals industry sales experience.
• Strong sales and communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; able to learn Metalware.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and well-being of all branch personnel and foster a safety culture.
• Develops a growing and profitable business with ROIC aligned to company objectives.
• Know market conditions, key customers and competitive conditions.
• Recommends pricing and sales effort; collaborates with customers to expand services.
• Ensure programs exist to maintain plant/equipment to meet/exceed local capabilities.
• Coordinate sales and operations per policy and procedures.
• Review production costs and inventory to maintain profitability.
• Own and manage branch P&L including EBITDA performance.
• Enforce branch policies and procedures to achieve financial/operational goals.
