Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is hiring for a Retail Branch Manager I to grow consumer and business customer relationships and lead in-store partner collaborations. You will drive sales, recruit and mentor staff, and execute community engagement strategies to strengthen the branch’s market presence.

The role requires coordinating with leaders to ensure exceptional customer experience, maintaining compliance, and delivering Woodforest’s values in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant and transferable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience acceptable.
• 1 year of experience leading a sales team is required.
• Experience mentoring staff is common but not always formal management.
• Previous in-store banking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve branch sales and revenue goals by marketing and recommending banking products and services.
• Recruit, train, retain and motivate staff to meet profitability and customer experience goals.
• Develop and lead strategies to grow consumer and business relationships.
• Grow business deposits and loans through community calling and partnerships.
• Enhance customer experience by greeting and engaging customers and partners.
• Lead community engagement efforts with a Community Development Relationship Manager.
