Job summary

Woodforest National Bank is hiring a Retail Assistant Branch Manager to align with the Retail Branch Manager in driving results and building relationships with customers and partners. The role emphasizes community engagement, teamwork, and maintaining Woodforest culture.

You will support branch sales, supervise staff, manage deposits and loans growth, and ensure excellent customer experiences while adhering to bank policies. This is a full-time, on-site position in Bedford, VA.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant and transferrable sales and/or customer service experience.
• Demonstrable leadership ability; prior supervisory experience helpful.
• In-store banking experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manager in achieving branch sales and revenue goals by promoting banking products to customers.
• Grow consumer and business relationships through proactive calling and community engagement.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet customers warmly, and build relationships.
• Lead and coach team members to achieve branch objectives and maintain Woodforest culture.
