Job summary

First Bank is seeking a Branch Manager I in Clayton, MO. You will lead the branch sales team, develop daily/weekly plans, and drive growth by promoting retail banking products and cultivating new business opportunities.

You will ensure compliance, audit integrity, and risk management while training staff on product knowledge and procedures. The role requires banking experience, supervisory skills, and a solid grasp of financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in financial services or banking experience.
• At least one year of supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and respond to inquiries.
• Proficient in sales planning, tracking and reporting.
• L&D license strongly preferred; NMLS registration required or upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Developing a daily and weekly branch sales plan.
• Developing and implementing teleservicing plans to prospect, refer, and follow up on opportunities.
• Tracking results and following up as appropriate.
• Promoting, explaining and selling all retail banking products.
• Developing new business opportunities and conducting outside sales calls.
• Obtain license to sell alternative investment products.
• Authorizing transactions per Bank policy.
• Addressing and resolving client concerns and inquiries.
• Ensuring audit integrity, risk management and security of the branch.
• Providing staff training on product knowledge, sales, referrals, and risk procedures.
