Job summary

Mutual 1st Federal Credit Union in Omaha is hiring a Branch Manager for our 144th & F St location to drive branch growth and support the financial health of our members.

The successful candidate will lead by example, provide outstanding member service, and coach a sales-oriented team while collaborating across the organization and with external partners. Minimum five years in banking and three to five years of people management are required; NMLS is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of banking or other financial industry experience.
• Three to five years of direct people management experience.
• Knowledge of sales and service techniques.
• Cash handling and balancing experience, required.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff and manage day-to-day branch activities including hiring, maintaining schedules, training, supervising, and evaluating.
• Coach bankers to achieve sales goals.
• Work collaboratively across the organization as well as with external vendors.
• Responsible for management, sales, marketing, and leadership of the branch with ability to lead a sales-oriented team.
• Manage branch operations to ensure safety and security of the branch; maintaining branch cash controls and other security compliance procedures.
• Has a keen eye for detail and accuracy to ensure internal audit and procedures are followed by team members.
• Ensures team members are proficient in assisting and educating members on how to conduct simple transactions via ATM/ITM, Mobile, and Online banking.
