Qualifications

• Five to eight years of similar or related experience.
• A bachelor's degree or industry certifications equivalent to a bachelor's.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff; manage performance evaluations.
• Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites loans within authorized levels and reviews subordinate decisions.
• Directs, develops, motivates, and disciplines branch personnel; administers evaluations.
• Monitors branch operating results relative to objectives and ensures corrective actions.
• Maintains communications with main office; prepares and submits standard reports; attends meetings.
• Represents the branch in relationships with customers, community, suppliers, and other banks.
• Controls past due and charged-off accounts for the branch.
• Monitors all branch activities to ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures.
• May serve as backup to the customer service representative.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
