United Community Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead growth and profitability at our Anderson, SC location. You will supervise staff, manage daily operations, and drive customer relationships while meeting sales targets and compliance standards.

The role requires banking experience, lending knowledge, and strong leadership. You will partner with the community and guide business development initiatives, ensuring excellent service delivery and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years banking experience
• Consumer/Residential lending experience
• Supervisory experience
• Good interpersonal communication and supervisory skills
• Thorough knowledge of Consumer and Small Business Lending Operations, Teller and CSR functions, bank products and services
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt to change
• Background in financial operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development and public relations preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch growth, profitability and operations.
• Cross-train on all branch functions.
• Oversee day-to-day management of facility, staff, and operations.
• Use reports and resources to maximize branch results.
• Maximize revenues and customer satisfaction while minimizing losses.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
• Communicate goals and branch plans to staff.
• Develop and maintain branch business plan; drive business development.
• Conduct business calling and sales programs; monitor 360 View.
• Develop and maintain a diversified loan and deposit portfolio.
• Represent the branch in the community and maintain public relations.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures and controls.
• Interview loan applicants and outline loan terms; support NMLS requirements.
