Job summary

Financial Plus Credit Union (FPCU) is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to lead branch staff, grow member relationships, and drive sales goals in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. The role requires coaching, compliance, and on-site leadership across daily operations.

You will supervise staff, handle scheduling, assist with audits and security, and support loan processing while promoting a positive member experience and teamwork within the branch.

Qualifications

• Exhibit a highly positive member-service attitude.
• Grow and deepen member relationships and coach staff.
• Communicate effectively with staff, Board of Directors, members and external contacts.
• Willing to work extended hours to accomplish goals.
• Learn core processing systems (Symitar) and business software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with employees to align goals and direction.
• Assist Branch Manager with scheduling, coaching meetings, and feedback.
• Assist Branch Manager with branch security and cash controls; ensure audit compliance.
• Operate as Branch Manager in absence and oversee branch sales/operations.
• Coach tellers and MSR on sales processes and product knowledge.
• Assist Branch Manager in meeting sales goals; engage in outside calls and client meetings.
• Promote teamwork among branch staff and departments.
• Interview members for financial information and process loan approvals.
• Establish new accounts and cross-sell financial services to members.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services; cross-sell appropriately.
• Process loan closings for pre-approved and other loans.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC and internal policies.
• Adhere to applicable laws and internal policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
