Job summary

Rexel USA in Spokane, WA is seeking a Branch Driver to join the Platt team. The Truck Driver I delivers products from the branch to customers and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck, ensuring orders are accurate and undamaged.

Key duties include vehicle inspections, upkeep, following DOT laws, loading and unloading, completing delivery documents, and supporting branch operations as needed. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow Department of Transportation (DOT) laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify order accuracy and damage; ensure material is correct.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation with customer signature, packing list and branch/warehouse manifest.
• Pick up material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• Pick up material from suppliers.
• May assist with counter sales and stocking; perform other duties as assigned.
