Job summary

Rexel USA seeks a Branch Driver to join the Platt Electric Supply team in Hermiston, OR. The role delivers products to customers, branch locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required.

You will inspect vehicles, complete delivery paperwork, and ensure orders are accurate and damage-free. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, following DOT rules, and assisting in order prep or other branch tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect company vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report needed repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and verify material per order and damage-free condition.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Ensure delivery paperwork (delivery receipt, packing list, manifest) is completed.
• Pick up material returns and verify quantities and catalog numbers.
• May pick up material from suppliers.
• Senior Driver may train entry-level drivers; provide mentorship.
• May perform other branch duties (counter sales, filling orders, stocking, shipping).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
