Job summary

The candidate will inspect the vehicle daily, load/unload materials, and may assist with warehouse tasks and order preparation. No CDL is required, and a strong focus on customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past three years.
• Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past three years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers, branch/warehouse locations, and suppliers in a delivery van or box truck.
• Inspect vehicle daily and complete inspection report.
• Follow DOT and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload material and verify quantity and condition before departure.
• Prepare orders for delivery and ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Receive material returns, inspect condition and verify quantities and catalog numbers.
• Possibly assist with other warehouse duties and training of entry level drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
