Job summary

Rexel USA in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Branch Driver I to join Platt team. The driver delivers products to customers and branch locations in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required).

Deliberate effort to meet customer requirements and ensure materials are correct and undamaged. Responsibilities include vehicle inspection, regular maintenance, adherence to DOT/local laws, loading/unloading, order preparation for delivery, customer signature collection, and potential support for branch

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment and MVR review.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained.
• Follow DOT and local driving laws and regulations.
• Load/unload material and verify order accuracy and undamaged condition.
• Prepare orders for delivery and obtain customer signatures on delivery receipts.
• Handle returns and inspect material condition and quantities.
• May assist with counter sales and other branch duties as needed.
