Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Branch Driver I to join the Platt team in Longview, WA. The role focuses on delivering products to customers and branch locations in a delivery van or box truck, with no CDL required.

You will ensure accurate, damage-free materials and complete delivery documentation. Key responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining the vehicle, adhering to DOT rules, loading/unloading cargo, assisting with orders, and handling returns and supplier pickups.

Qualifications

• In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect company vehicle for defects and file a daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; alert supervisor of repairs.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload vehicle and ensure correct quantities and materials.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Complete delivery documentation at time of delivery, have customer sign receipt.
• Pickup material returns from customers and inspect condition.
• Pickup material from suppliers.
• May perform other branch duties including sales, ordering, stocking, and shipping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
