Job summary

PacWest Machinery in Pasco, WA is seeking a Parts Sales Specialist to support parts counter sales and deliver high-level service to external customers and the service department. You will also serve as the branch coordinator and primary contact at this location, with responsibilities to open and close the branch and oversee parts handling.

The role requires strong organization, multitasking, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of parts counter or customer service experience at a dealership for construction equipment (preferred), heavy truck, agriculture or auto industries.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
• Ability to balance priorities by multi-tasking and communicating with stakeholders.
• Forklift experience is desired, or have a willingness to train.

About the Role

This team member is responsible for parts counter sales and a high level of service to external customers and the company's service department. The individual facilitates the role of branch coordinator and is the main contact at this location. The successful candidate will open/close the branch and ensure the warehouse associate is receiving, shelving and packing parts based on standard routines. The successful candidate must be personable, self-motivated and have above average organizational skills. Requires the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and internal team members by telephone, e-mail and in person. The successful candidate must possess the ability to multitask. Must be willing to work a fully, fast-paced day with occasional overtime.

• Forklift experience is desired, or have a willingness to train
• Able to occasionally climb, balance and lift or move up to 40 pounds
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Strong references from former employers and colleagues
• Outstanding qualifications in certain categories may help to offset a lack of experience in other areas

Compensation: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
