Job summary

Shore United Bank is hiring a Branch Banking Specialist II (Bank Teller) in Easton, MD. You will front the customer experience, handle transactions, and promote banking products, while building trusted relationships with clients.

The role emphasizes accurate service, compliance, and a proactive approach to solving customer needs in a fast-paced setting. Full-time, non-exempt, with a schedule Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 1 year of bank teller experience preferred or a degree in Business/Finance can substitute.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with transactions while maintaining audit standards and security.
• Provide friendly, accurate service and referral when appropriate.
• Establish new banking relationships through conversations addressing financial needs.
• Maintain account servicing tasks including address changes and online banking setup.
• Promote bank products during daily transactions and maintain compliance with policies.
• Open new consumer and business accounts, including CDs and IRAs.
• Support branch operations through pre-shift huddles, tracking referral goals, and collaborating with partners.
• Represent the bank to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Follow laws and policies to promote a safe, inclusive workplace.
• Work allocation varies with branch traffic and staffing levels.
• Complete required regulatory and compliance training on/before deadlines.
