Shore United Bank is seeking a Branch Banking Specialist II (Bank Teller) to join our team at the Bryan's Road branch in MD. You will be the face of the bank, delivering exceptional customer service while handling transactions and building lasting relationships with customers.

You will help clients meet daily financial needs, promote bank products, and ensure accuracy and compliance. The role offers full-time hours, benefits, and opportunities to grow in banking and customer-relations skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• 1 year experience as a bank teller; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or similar OR management experience can stand in lieu of bank experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with transactions and maintain audit standards, security, and control functions.
• Provide friendly, accurate service and referrals to meet customer needs.
• Establish new banking relationships through conversations about financial needs.
• Provide account servicing including address changes, ATM disputes, and online banking setup.
• Recommend bank products and services during daily transactions.
• Open new consumer and business accounts including CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and branch procedures, conduct security checks, and complete reports.
• Support pre-shift huddles, branch incentives, and weekly referral goals.
• Collaborate with bank partners for client referrals to Merchant, Wye Financial, and Relationship Managers.

Education

High school diploma/GED
