Job summary

Prosperity Bank is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to direct and administer the branch’s operational efforts, ensuring policies are followed and services are delivered promptly and professionally. You will supervise staff, manage cash controls, and cross-sell banking services while coordinating with loan processing and credit functions.

Ideal candidates have five years of lending experience, supervisory background, and strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Minimum five years of related experience in a financial institution, with at least two years in supervision.
• Five years lending experience; real estate and origination background preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of bank services and products; understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct branch operations and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Supervise branch staff, scheduling, and training; provide coaching.
• Maintain proper cash controls; balance daily branch transactions.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and cross-sell services.
• Coordinate with accounting, loan processing, and credit functions; manage expenses and reports.
• Attend training sessions and supervise staff development; perform performance appraisals.
