Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a collaborative, customer-focused Banking Consultant to join our Kahuku Branch. You will deliver an in-branch customer service experience, demonstrate digital banking options, handle day-to-day transactions, and advise on the full range of financial products and services to meet customers' needs.

Ideal candidates have banking/retail experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced branch

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business-related field or equivalent work experience.
• High school diploma with 2 years' experience in sales and service required.
• Retail/branch banking experience in operations and sales or similar experience in financial services.
• Extensive knowledge of banking products and services; understand finance and credit concepts.
• Must project a welcoming presence when interacting with customers.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Digitally savvy and comfortable with digital banking tools.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-through.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional in-branch customer service experience by proactively engaging with customers to identify needs.
• Demonstrate digital banking options and fulfill day-to-day transactional needs.
• Advise customers on the full range of financial products and services available to meet their financial goals.
• Identify referral opportunities to a subject matter expert or appropriate relationship banker.
