Job summary

Seattle Credit Union in the Greater Seattle area is seeking a Branch Assistant Manager to oversee daily branch operations, optimize member flow, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service. You will act as back-up branch manager and help drive sales and service goals while ensuring compliance and risk management.

You will mentor staff, participate in hiring under the Branch Manager, and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive workplace focused on member prosperity and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of three years in a high-transaction retail banking environment.
• Experience leading or coaching a team for at least one year.
• Knowledge of state and federal banking regulations (e.g., Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. Z, BSA).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to motivate others.
• Proficiency with banking software and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations and manage lobby traffic flow.
• Back-up branch manager as needed and ensure audits are completed.
• Drive sales/service goals and accountability for results.
• Mentor and develop branch team members.
