Job summary

Seattle Credit Union in Seattle, WA is seeking a Branch Assistant Manager to oversee daily branch operations, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional member service. This role serves as back-up branch manager and is central to achieving sales and service goals.

You will work in a fast-paced retail banking environment, partnering with the Member Experience team to manage audits, compliance, and service quality while promoting SCU values and community-minded financial education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a high transaction, retail banking environment.
• 1+ year of experience leading or coaching others.
• Knowledge of state and federal banking regulations (Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. Z, BSA).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with leadership potential.
• Proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as back-up branch manager as needed and oversee daily branch operations.
• Achieve or exceed sales and service goals and ensure accountability for results.
• Mentor and train branch staff and manage audits and compliance tasks.
• Engage with members to meet teller, new accounts, and loan needs.
