Lakeside seeks a skilled 1st Shift Machine Operator to join a dedicated team focused on precision welding and assembly to meet high-quality standards and customer specifications. Position features a 4-day workweek (Mon–Thu) with 10-hour shifts, first shift from 5:00 am to

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma/GED equivalent, plus 1-3 years related experience.
Ability to read blueprints, tape measure, micrometer, square, and protractor.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
Forklift certification must be obtained.

Responsibilities

Setup and operate all listed machinery (small mechanical press breaks, punch presses, deburring machines, straightener, large shear, cold saw, drill table, hand bender, spotfacer).
Perform first piece inspection to ensure parts meet specifications.
Read parts lists, blueprints and drawings.
Perform routine and minor maintenance per Company procedures.
Complete and maintain all required paperwork and records.
