Job summary

AriensCo is seeking an experienced Brake Press Technician to set up, adjust, and operate press brakes for metal fabrication. The role involves reading engineering drawings to ensure precise bends and dimensional accuracy, with a focus on safety and quality.

Pay starts at $22/hour plus a $4 shift premium and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 2:30PM–12:30AM, with a four-day workweek and extended shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong metal press forming and basic fabrication background.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of fabrication, hydraulic press and/or punch operations including basic set up is desired.
• Competent at basic dimensional measuring and able to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools.
• Demonstrated competency in blueprint reading
• Ability to work with various types of metal forming constraints with guidance.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operator duties and responsibilities.
• Safe operation of all machining and tooling.
• Operate press brake machine to form parts.
• Run, bend and form operations using standard punches.
• Load, install and correctly set-up the tools required.
• Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications.
• Check height, depth and thickness using precision instruments.
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
