Job summary

Metal-Tech Partners is seeking a Brake Press Operator in Geneva, NE to join a fast-paced, hands-on team. Excellent hours Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends and a $300 hiring bonus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machines and tools used in fabrication.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools used in metal components construction.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify optimal solutions to problems.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate brake presses and other fabrication machinery.
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications using calipers, protractors, and measuring tapes.
• Move parts into position manually or with hoists or cranes.
• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials and task sequences.
• Lay out and examine metal stock to ensure specifications are met.
• Remove high spots and bevels with hand tools and torches.
