Job summary

AriensCo is seeking an experienced Brake Press Technician to set up, adjust, and operate press brakes for metal fabrication. You will work from engineering drawings to ensure precise bends and meet dimensional requirements.

The role includes a $22/hour base, $4 shift premium, and a $4,000 sign-on bonus; schedule is Mon-Thu, 2:30PM-12:30AM. daily tasks include machine operation, tooling setup, using CNC controllers, and performing quality checks with precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Strong metal press forming and basic fabrication background.
• Basic knowledge of fabrication, hydraulic press and/or punch operations with setup.
• Competent in basic shop math and blueprint reading.
• Willingness to work with metal forming constraints and train others.

Responsibilities

• Operate press brake machines and perform forming, bending, punching, and notching.
• Set up tooling, load parts, and adjust ram and back gauge per drawings.
• Read engineering drawings and ensure dimensions meet specifications.
• Program CNC for new parts and perform spot inspections.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
