Job summary

Paragon is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator in Edgewood, KY to form and produce parts per customer specs and tolerances. You will operate brake press equipment, interpret blueprints, and maintain accurate production records in a collaborative shop environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and prints to operate the brake press according to customer specifications and tolerances.
• Read prints and operate non-programmable rollers to produce parts accurately and within required specifications.
• Accurately form parts in the correct sequence and order of operations to ensure proper completion of each part.
• Verify that the correct parts and quantities are properly kitted, organized, and accounted for to support efficient assembly and overall shop workflow.
• Work collaboratively with team members to identify production or routing issues and recommend process improvements.
• Communicate with Management when questions arise and become familiar with company processes, procedures, and expectations.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when working with peers, supervisors, and Management.
• Accurately clock in and out of assigned jobs and maintain proper production records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace and encourage team members to maintain the same standards.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
