Qualifications

• 1+ year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with metal forming, fabrication, hydraulic presses or punch presses preferred.
• Basic knowledge of press brake setup and operation is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings is essential.
• Basic shop math skills are required.
• Ability to perform dimensional measurements and use precision tools.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Lean manufacturing experience a plus.
• Overhead crane experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Cincinnati hydraulic CNC press brakes and punch press equipment.
• Select tooling based on job requirements and setup documentation.
• Load and install tooling with assistance as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and production specifications.
• Measure parts to verify dimensions and quality.
• Enter production time and completed work into the data system.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and finished parts.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic manufacturing issues.
• Maintain equipment performance logs and report maintenance needs.
• Participate in operator-level preventative maintenance.
• Keep work area clean, organized and safe.
• Assist other operators as needed.
