Shift and Compensation: 1st Shift/Full-Time: Monday through Thursday, 3:15pm to 1:15am
With experience, make up to $25.00 per hour.

Summary

Set up, adjust, and operate press brakes to perform a wide variety of forming, bending, and punching operations. To qualify as a Brake Press Operator, the employee must demonstrate proficiency with all pieces of brake press equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up punches, dies, and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper radius and angle.
• Determine sequence of multiple pass operations to make required bends on complicated sections.
• Use set up pieces for forming special shapes having single or compound radii and angle requirements.
• Work from drawings, patterns, templates, and specifications.
• Use scale, protractor, radii gauges, etc.
• Identify parts with correct shop and part number.
• Work is subject to first piece and process checks and final inspection.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED, HSED)
• One to three months related experience and/or training preferred
