Job Title: Brake Press Operator – 1st and 2nd Shift
Pay Range: $18.00 – $26.00/hour (based on experience)
Location: Germantown, WI
Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd

Job Overview:

We are urgently seeking experienced Brake Press Operators for both 1st and 2nd shift openings. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience with set-up and operation of CNC brake presses in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. This is a high-priority role for our team and offers competitive pay, consistent hours, and a clean, safety-focused workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC brake press machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to blueprints and specifications

  • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programming as required

  • Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

  • Read and interpret technical drawings and work orders

  • Maintain equipment by performing basic maintenance and cleaning

  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of brake press set-up and operation experience required

  • Strong ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools

  • Familiarity with CNC press brake controls (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Cincinnati, etc.)

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
