Brake Press Operator and/or Laser Fab Operator - 1st Shift (4-10hrs)

1st shift position: 5am-3pm or 6am-4pm (Mon-Thur) _ Overtime as needed.

Location: Merrill, WI 54452
Located approx. 7 miles north of Wausau on County Road K and approx. 8 miles south of Merrill on County Road K.

Summary for Brake Press / Laser Operator:

We are actively seeking a skilled Brake Press/Laser Operator to join our team for either the 1st or 2nd shift. Requirements for Brake Press / Laser Operator:

• - Proven experience as a Brake Press/Laser Operator in a metal fabrication environment
• - Knowledge of raw materials, fabrication machines and fabrication processes
• - Ability to readand interpretblueprints, diagrams, and work orders
• - Strong mathematical and measurement skills
• - Good verbal and written communication skills along with organization and prioritization
• - Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods
• - Basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant software applications
• - Willingness to cross train between the laser and brake press areas

Preferred:

• - High school diploma or equivalent withvocational or technical training in metal fabrication or related field
• - Prior sheet metal CNC brake press experience
• - Forklift experience
