Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Brake NVH Core Engineer to own NVH methods, define requirements, and lead CAE-driven decisions for underbody systems. You will manage dyno testing across facilities, align testing with program goals, and influence launch quality and warranty outcomes.

The role combines engineering leadership with hands‑on test oversight, budget responsibility, and cross‑functional collaboration with suppliers, trades, and management. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in brake NVH, brake system engineering or brake dynamometer testing.
• Proficient communication and collaboration across engineering, trades, and management.

Responsibilities

• Own brake NVH methods, author system and component requirements, and link customer attributes to design decisions and verification evidence.
• Lead CAE and model‑to‑test correlation, and supervise program‑level NVH work and dyno signoffs.
• Oversee brake dyno testing at Ford facilities, manage budget, and coordinate among engineering, facilities, trades, and suppliers.
