Job summary

Mobis North America seeks a Lead Brake CAE Engineer to lead virtual analyses of braking systems. You will coordinate with the local CAE team and customers to drive design decisions from concept to production readiness, using FEA and NVH tools to evaluate performance and durability.

You will plan technique development, expand CAE capabilities, and collaborate across PDT, design and testing groups to ensure accurate predictions and robust virtual models for North American programs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in CAE with Abaqus, Hyperworks, Ansys Motion, Python.
• Experience with structural and NVH analysis.
• Experience in automotive chassis systems and with North American OEMs.
• Ability to map virtual results to physical test outputs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run brake component simulations to meet local project demand using CAE tools.
• Interpret results and provide clear recommendations on performance, durability and NVH.
• Collaborate with PDT, design, NVH and testing teams to validate models and predictions.
• Lead localization efforts to improve local CAE capabilities and project support.
• Prepare clear engineering reports and track progress against milestones.
