Job summary

MOBIS North America seeks a Lead Brake CAE Engineer to drive virtual analysis for braking systems, using FEA and multi-body simulation tools. You will coordinate results from early concept phases to production readiness, influencing design decisions for local customers.

The role requires 4+ years in CAE, experience with Abaqus/HyperWorks/ANSYS, and strong NVH and structural analysis knowledge, with familiarity in the automotive domain and North American OEM collaboration.

Qualifications

BS/MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer) preferred.
4+ years of CAE experience required.
Experience with Abaqus, HyperWorks, ANSYS, and Python.
Experience with structural and NVH analysis.
Automotive chassis experience with North American OEMs.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and run simulations for brake components and assemblies using CAE tools or coordinate analyses with internal teams.
Interpret results and provide clear recommendations.
Collaborate with PDT, design, NVH, and testing teams to validate models and predict performance.
Lead localization efforts to improve CAE capabilities for local projects.
Document work with clear reports and progress tracking against milestones.
