Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in North Dakota is seeking Brake & Alignment Technicians to service and install brake, alignment, suspension parts and more, delivering friendly, fast service in line with company policies.

Responsibilities include installing brake systems, suspensions, drivetrains, testing batteries, tire mounting, wheel balancing, TPMS recalibration, using tools, and driving service vehicles for offsite calls. On-the-job training and opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Experience with brake, suspension or alignment systems preferred.
• On-the-job training provided by Les Schwab.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake systems and related components.
• Disassemble and mount tire and wheel assemblies; rebalance wheels.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite road service as needed.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
