Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Minnesota is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension parts while delivering excellent customer care. Duties include testing, road testing, and offsite service, with on-the-job training offered by Les Schwab.

The role involves installing and servicing hydraulic and electric brake systems, suspensions, and TPMS components, as well as tire mounting, balancing, and occasional drive testing.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds and perform bending, squatting, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Install or service brake, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test drive vehicles and perform offsite/emergency road services when needed.
• Disassemble/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and handle TPMS components.

Job Description:Brake & Alignment TechnicianBrake & Alignment Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of brake, alignment, and suspension system parts and components, providing excellent customer service and completing work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.Primary Responsibilities:Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components; testing and installing batteries; dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components; using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
