Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Minnesota is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, suspension and alignment systems, rebuild and recalibrate TPMS, and deliver top-tier customer service. You will test drive vehicles, use shop tools, and assist teammates while following company policies and safety rules.

On-the-job training is provided. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role involves lifting up to 75 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 75 pounds, with bending, twisting, kneeling and squatting.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Testing and installing batteries.
• Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and recalibrating TPMS.
• Using equipment and hand tools.
• Assisting other employees and test driving vehicles.
• Operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Providing excellent customer service and referring customers as needed.
