Les Schwab Tire Centers in Minnesota is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brakes, alignment, and suspension components. The role involves testing, battery work, tire mounting, TPMS recalibration, and driving to offsite service calls.

On-the-job training is provided. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. Includes competitive pay and benefits in a retail auto service setting.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering components.
• Test and install vehicle batteries.
• Dismount and remount tire and wheel assemblies, rebalance wheels, and recalibrate TPMS components.
• Use equipment and hand tools to complete work.
• Assist other employees and respond to customer needs.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and performance.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified teammates as needed.
