Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Minnesota is seeking a Brake & Alignment Technician to service brake, alignment, and suspension systems, install parts, and deliver excellent customer service in line with company policies.

The role involves testing batteries, tire and TPMS work, using hand tools, and occasional offsite road service. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

Installing or servicing hydraulic/electric brake system, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts and components.
Testing and installing batteries.
Dismounting/mounting tire and wheel assemblies, rebalancing wheels, and replacing, rebuilding and/or recalibrating TPMS components.
Using equipment and miscellaneous hand tools.
Assisting other employees.
Test driving vehicles.
Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services.
Provides excellent customer service; refers customers to other qualified employees as necessary.
