Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers is hiring a Brake & Alignment Technician in Minnesota to service and install brake, alignment, and suspension components and to provide excellent customer service.

You will install and test batteries, handle tire mounting, TPMS calibration, and drive-train related work while moving between bays and assisting teammates. A valid driver’s license is required, with physical tasks and safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Install or service hydraulic/electric brake systems, suspension, alignment, drive train, and power steering parts.
• Test and install batteries.
• Dismount/mount tires, rebalance wheels, and replace/calibrate TPMS components.
• Use service equipment and various hand tools.
• Assist other technicians and staff.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road calls.
• Provide excellent customer service and refer customers to qualified colleagues when needed.
